The Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves continues to impress people in the NBA, this time ESPN's NBA analyst and insider Brian Windhorst has spoken about it.

Reaves has been a great surprise for the fans, one of the most successful stories for the purple and gold thanks to the scouting department that was able to detect the potential of the young player that went undrafted two years ago.

After a breakout season, many believed that Reaves was overhyped because he is a Lakers player and has the media attention, but now that he has been playing with Team USA he has been better than many expected.

“A player that I had several people say has really impressed them and been, like, much better than they were expecting has been Austin Reaves,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said on the podcast.

The fans are happy with Reaves signing a four years extension

Lakers fans have to love the praise that Reaves has received this offseason, especially since he just signed a four-year deal with the team. Reaves, a former undrafted free agent, came back to the Lakers in free agency after putting together a great season in the 2022-23 campaign.
