LeBron James' participation in Jamal Crawford's Pro-Am summer league (CrawsOver) was a huge deal. The CrawsOver took part in Seattle, which meant that was the first game that LeBron James played in the state of Washington in almost 15 years. However, this game was called off in the second quarter due to condensation on the court.

Many pro players attend the summer league game, including Dejounte Murray, who was born and raised in Seattle. He had made previous appearances at The CrawsOver, but as LeBron James took part in this year's game, it obviously meant even more to him. He then expressed his gratitude to LeBron for what he did for him.

NBA Hall of Famer gives some praise to LeBron James

Murray went onto his Twitter account to show LeBron James how much it meant to him that the ‘King’ assisted the game. Not only for playing, but for giving the people of Seattle the chance to see the best player of his generation play a basketball game.

This was the last game that the players would have before training camp. Which means that Seattle will have to wait one more year to see professional basketball players in their home state, as Seattle hasn't had a basketball team since the Supersonics moved to Oklahoma to become the Oklahoma City Thunders in 2008.

LeBron James participation in Seattle

It's always good to see amazing players visit and play in lesser-known places. Especially someone like LeBron James, as he is one of the best players to ever played the sport. However, what was supposed to be a celebration could've ended in disaster as the court became a risk for the players. If James injured himself in the game, we would have another conversation.
