It has been known that the Hall of Famer and now TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley isn't fond of the Los Angeles Lakers and has been harsh on the team for a long time now.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a tough series against the Memphis Grizzlies, as they were the number two seed in the West, even when the purple and gold won the series' first game.

But it seems that for Barkley, now that the Lakers got the first win, he is trying to diminish the effort of the team and what they have achieved, as it only took one game in the playoffs for him to say, "The Lakers got the easiest path to the conference finals."

Barkley changed his speech from saying that LA was trash and "they won't even make the playoffs" to "if they don't make the conference finals, it's a disappointing season."

Magic Johnson thinks the Lakers have a shot at winning the West

The LA Lakers legend Magic Johnson said after the win, "If the Lakers continue to play like this, they can beat Memphis and anybody else in the West!"
