The Los Angeles Lakers are set to start on the right foot in the 2023-24 season, which includes solving the 3-PT shooting they have carried ever since the franchise won the 2020 championship title.

Last season names like Lonnie Walker and Malik Beasley were signed to solve that problem, but they just became part of it. It has happened that many sharpshooters as soon as they start wearing the purple and gold jersey forget how to shoot.

But the next season there is some good news for the Lakers fans, Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura have been some of the best 3-point shooters not only of the Lakers but of the league with the percentage they were able to get at the 2023 playoffs.

Still, it hasn't been enough, and GM Rob Pelinka has signed a sharpshooter this offseason in the shape of Taurean Prince, whose 3-point shooting percentages the last three seasons have been a fire: 2021: 40.0%. 2022: 37.6% and 2023: 38.1%.

Austin Reaves has been shooting buckets with Team USA

The Lakers guard Austin Reaves has been doing great with Team USA, showing he is a player to have in mind for the next season. The 3-PT shooting percentage has been great with 57.1% being the 1st on the team.
