LeBron James is one the most popular NBA players worldwide, and he not only was present at the LA Dodgers last night's game, but he took his sons to it, recognized Mookie's greatness, and received a 100K check.
Mookie had a two-homer night, and the King himself recognized him by making his putting the crown gesture and also tipping his hat to the Dodgers star.
LeBron stole the night's spotlight who was wearing his Dodgers shorts and went to the game with the company of his two sons, Bronny and Bryce James.
The reason the Lakers star got $100,000 wasn't that he got paid to assist in the game, but on behalf of the Dodgers, the President and CEO Stan Kasten presented the LeBron James Family Foundation with a check for the 100K for the foundation's I PROMISE program.
James' greatness transcends sports, this time by inspiring with his presence the Dodgers to take the win at home. Mookie's two home runs were in honor of the King who acknowledge the Dodgers star back. Mookie Betts said in the post-game interview: “Game recognize game and I had to try to show out for him (LeBron).”
