By James Brown
Pau Gasol make history yesterday when he was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, as he became the first Spanish player to do so, and is well deserved.
Gasol gave an inspirational and emotional speech, thanking the Lakers family but taking his time to let it know that without Kobe Bryant he wouldn't have received the honor of becoming a Hall of Famer.
After the induction ceremony, Gasol opened up about another moment in his NBA career that made history, but is also more on the funny side of things, as he remembers when he got traded for his brother Marc.
"We got traded for each other... I think we are the only brothers who ever got traded for each other." Said Pau Gasol, which is an interesting piece of information.
The Lakers' last two championship titles before the LeBron James era were thanks to Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol who helped the team win the 2009 and 2010 championship titles.
