The offseason continues for the NBA but not for much longer, as training camp is coming soon and then the pre-season and regular season will happen in less than five weeks.

In the upcoming weeks before the start of another NBA season, Darvin Ham and his new coaching staff are determining the Lakers' depth chart, especially after what GM Rob Pelinka was able to build this offseason.

Ham has stated that besides LeBron James, Austin Reaves, and Anthony Davis being in the starting five, the rest is undetermined, with that in mind, according to NBA insider Jovan Buha, the Lakers could try different lineups.

The first one is a two-way upside with Reaves as the team's PG, with Max Christie as the SG, Rui Hachimura as the SF with LeBron James as the PF and AD as the center.

Another lineup that coach Ham could consider according to Buha is with two bigs, to replicate what the team did in the 2020 championship with D'Angelo Russell as the PG, Max Christies as the SG, Taurean Prince as the SF, Anthony Davis as the PF and Jaxson Hayes as the C. What makes this lineup unlikely is not starting LeBron, but this could happen if James gets injured at some time in the campaign.
