According to different NBA analysts from the media, the Los Angeles Lakers 'won' the offseason with the movements pulled off by GM Rob Pelinka and coach Ham.

The Lakers were able to lock down Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and D'Angelo Russell, and signed the new LA players like Gabe Vincent, Taurean Prince, Cam Reddish, and Jaxson Hayes.

If that wasn't enough, Pelinka also pulled off a great 2023 NBA Draft that got him 5 talented young promises in Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Maxwell Lewis as their two draft picks, and the two-way signings of D'Moi Hodge, Alex Fudge, and Colin Castleton.

The Lakers' roster looks great, but they still desperately need another reliable center with the season on the horizon. Otherwise, it's the thinnest center rotation they had in the LeBron James and Anthony Davis era. Besides AD, the only centers in the roster are Jaxson Hayes and rookie Colin Castleton.

The Lakers options for a center could include a return of a former big

Pelinka and Ham still have available two spots on their roster, they could use both to get better backup centers. Christian Wood and Bismack Biyombo continue to be available in the free agency market, One of them could use the 14th spot, and the 15th place could go for a returning big like Wenyen Gabriel, Tristan Thompson, or even Dwight Howard
