The Los Angeles Lakers are playing a new season but have been repeating some of the same mistakes as the last season and so far are having the same results, and one more time, the one to take most of the blame is Russell Westbrook, even when all the team is failing at shooting.
The backlash towards the Point Guard has been unbearable, and every time Russ plays, it can be seen he is not comfortable anymore; he tries his best, but it just isn't enough. And after another disappointing loss on Sunday, the fans and media went to "attack" Westbrook as he had a forgettable evening.
Russ had a disjointed face in the post-game interview as he had to face the press, and he finally opened up about what was happening as he got real: "Not really sure what to do, but just trying to do the best I can."
After everything that happened in the offseason before the start of the campaign, the Lakers were hoping Westbrook would finally fit in and work with the rest of the team; so far, that hasn't happened; they aren't clicking and are getting frustrated for all the involved.
The answer is unknown at the moment, but the best guess, as reported, is that GM Rob Pelinka will wait until Thanksgiving to trade the Point Guard. It's not going to be easy, as it has also been reported that Pelinka did try to make several trades, but no one wanted the 47M PG.
