The NBA media has been selling the narrative that Anthony Davis is a fragile player and have even called him 'street clothes,' when, funny enough he has more games played since 2019 than NBA favorites like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and more.

Now that the Lakers and the GM Rob Pelinka have extended him for three more years and 186 million, many in the media have lost their minds and think it was a mistake from LA's organization.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith is a prime example, recently he sat with the LA Clippers star Paul George and talked about the Lakers extending AD, and Smith gave a low blow by having a new nickname for the star: "Six Flags."

Smith came to explain the new nickname because believes AD is a rollercoaster in the sense that his game isn't constant, he can give a 40-point game to give an 11-point game the next one. "62M, his talent is worth it, his consistency is not, he will show up one day, he won't show up the next, he will drop 40 in day one and 11 on game 2."

Anthony Davis will have a 'rematch' season with the Lakers

After all the talk from the media, NBA fans, and detractors, Anthony Davis wants to win another championship title with the team alongside LeBron James, 2023-24 he is set to have a personal and professional rematch and prove that he is an MVP caliber player.
