Surprise in LA, the team Darvin Ham coaches & is not the Lakers

It was a rollercoaster ride for Darvin Ham as a first-time head coach with the LA Lakers in the 2022-23 season, but he was able to pull it off after a rocky start and end the campaign by playing the WCF.

The team may have lost by being swept by the Nuggets, but Ham impressed on his first season as an NBA head coach, and with the organization keeping the core of the roster things are looking great.

But now Coach Ham has been seen coaching other players that aren't the LA Lakers. Darvin took his time to go straight to work with Basketball without Borders this summer.

Ham was seen coaching young players in Basketball Without Borders Africa. Still, the Lakers fans don't like Ham and want him out of the team, even when he has been bringing out the best of some players.

Lakers Nation thinks Ham is the weakest link

The Lakers are ready to win everything the next season, but the Lakers Nation still believes a change of leader is needed and coach Ham should be replaced by another head. But Ham was able to make it to the WCF in his first season, he has now earned the benefit of the doubt on his second season in the Lakers lead.
