The new Laker Taurean Prince could become Coach Ham's starter for the regular season despite previous rumors

The Los Angeles Lakers had a great offseason that different players are battling for the last starting role available in coach Darvin Ham's lineup for the beginning of the regular season which will have the rematch vs. the Denver Nuggets.

Three players have been named as the front runners for the role, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Taurean Prince. Prince is the only out of the three who is new to the team, still, he must be impressing Ham and his coaching staff to be considered becoming a starter over Hachimura and Vando.

Taurean Prince stated he had many options from other teams, but chose the Lakers, giving credit to the Lakers coaching staff, and primarily Darvin Ham due to his relationship with him.

Prince, Wood, and other players so far have credited Ham as a lead recruiter for the Lakers. This comes to prove that coach Darvin is great with players and knows how to bring the best out of them.

Today's preseason opener vs. the Warriors will give Taurean Prince his first minutes as a Laker

Basketball is finally back today for the LA Lakers, and the new signings and even rookies will be able to get their first playing minutes wearing the purple and gold jersey, including Taurean Prince who even could start in today's contest.
