Team USA bounced back vs. Italy, Austin Reaves' role to close the game coach Ham could use

The Austin Reaves haters are awfully quiet on social media right now after the performance the Lakers guar had with Team USA against Italy to advance to the next round.

In 20 minutes, Reaves scored 12 points, had 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 75/67/100 splits. Austin also had an impressive putback dunk that got the Philipines crowd on fire.

Another highlight for Reaves that coach Ham is probably paying attention to, is that the Lakers guard got at point guard to close out the game, that's a role Darvin is probably going to give a decent amount of time with the purple and gold.

After losing against Lithuania it was necessary for a dominant win, and Team USA delivered just that by beating 100-63 Italy to advance. Mikal Bridges was the standout with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. Haliburton had 18 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Austin had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
