The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a painful loss against the Denver Nuggets as they got swept in the Western Conference Finals, and now the team is focused on building a stronger team for next season.

Rob Pelinka stated that he wants to keep the young core and build around it, and different rumors have surfaced with names like Kyrie Irving and the Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young.

But the NBA insider from ESPN, Dave McMenamin, has a new name involved in the conversation as a possible new addition to the team.

"Could the Lakers target a trade for Atlanta's Dejounte Murray for his defensive prowess -- hoping his addition could get the team out in transition more often where a traditional point guard with half-court sets sensibilities is less needed?" Said McMenamin.

LeBron James could be pressuring the Lakers to sign Kyrie Irving

One of the strongest rumors after the Nuggets' elimination of the Lakers is that LeBron James is pressuring Pelinka to let D'Angelo Russell go and to sign Kyrie Irving instead.
