Not only in Team USA, but Austin Reaves has been a constant target of detractors and haters, as many NBA fans, outside the Los Angeles Lakers believed the guard is an overrated player.

Reaves great postseason run with LA and Steve Kerr's comments on how the Lakers guard kicked their asses weren't enough for his detractors to be silenced. Not even the many comments by former and new teammates in the Lakers and Team USA of how great he is or Reaves' performances at the FIBA World Cup being one of the standouts of the team.

But the LA Lakers have now released a stat that should silence his detractors for good. Austin Reaves was the layup league leader in the last season. AR led the league finishing 72.9% of his layups.

Also, after the trade deadline, Reaves averaged 16.5 PPG, 5.0 APG, 57.7% FG and 45.6& from 3-pointers. Austin Reaves is a baller and this upcoming season he will continue to give his best effort to help the team win the NBA championship title.
