The Los Angeles Lakers are pursuing a trade that can help them improve the team's roster and makes them contenders, especially now that Anthony Davis is out for at least a month.
Terry Rozier has been on the list of players that GM Rob Pelinka wants to sign for the team this trading season, and tonight's game is a perfect opportunity to see how viable this trade is.
Rozier will be playing to win a game, earn a spot on coach Darvin Ham's roster, and prove that he has the shooting and game the team needs to help them save the season.
It hasn't been an easy season for the purple and gold, which stand with a 13-18 record, but hosting tonight's game against the Hornets, who have only won one game of their last 10, is an opportunity to start their redemption path.
What the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka has been avoiding all season is to give away the only two main assets they have, the first-round draft picks of 2027 and 2029. Rozier could arrive on the team only if Pelinka can pull off a trade without draft picks.
