Pau Gasol is a Lakers legend who landed in Los Angeles to bring back the best out of Kobe Bryant after the purple and gold biggest star was frustrated for years after Shaquille O'Neal departed the franchise.

Gasol became a key factor for the Lakers to win two back-to-back championships thanks to his size, his game, and by averaging 18 PPG and 10 rebounds.

So for the 'Undisputed' new co-host Richard Sherman, the Lakers new center signing of Christian Wood could become a similar case for the team, as in the last three years, the big man has averaged 18 PPG and 9 rebounds, numbers similar to the ones Gasol had with the purple and gold.

Sherman believes that Wood is a great signing for the Lakers that besides bringing a similar "Gasol" quality to the team, will help Anthony Davis to have more time as the team's four, which is the position he feels more comfortable with.

Christian Wood's big asterisk is to be known for his bad behavior

While Sherman didn't know why took for a team so long to sign a great center, it is known in the NBA, that Wood has a bad rep for having hard behavior to deal with, but coach Ham and Anthony Davis have worked with the big man before and the Lakers organization are confident on making it work, if he doesn't deliver, he could be cut from the team.
