Anthony Davis has been one of the biggest, if not the biggest underrated NBA player of the last five years, as he has never won an MVP or DOY award and he has deserved them.

The NBA media and some side of the fans have tagged Davis as a 'fragile' player and haven't been in the conversation or top ten lists of the best players in the league when he has been a top 3. Anthony Davis just had the 4th highest scoring season of his career He posted Career highs in rebounding & FG% but you would never think such based on the narrative told by the media.

Anthony Davis usually is out of the MVP conversation and even DOY because he is supposedly to miss a lot of games, but despite being in and out of the lineup the last couple of years, AD has managed to play in more games than some of the call-best NBA stars.

Since the 2016-17 season, Anthony Davis has been in 400 games, while Joel Embiid in 394, Stephen Curry in 387 games, Kyrie Irving in 362 games, and Kevin Durant in 345 games. Yet, AD is the only one of them being called fragile and not in the MVP conversation thanks to the narrative against the Lakers star.

Anthony Davis is now the highest-paid NBA player

The Boston Celtics signed a massive five year 303 million contract with Jaylen Brown to make him the highest annual player in the league, but it didn't last long as that title is now owned by Anthony Davis who signed a three-year 186 million, which will make him 62 million per year.
