Even with everything going smoothly inside the Lakers team, starting with Head Coach Darvin Ham planning to use West, the now support of the biggest star of the purple and gold LeBron James wanting Russ to make a remarkable comeback.
And surprisingly, old nemesis Pat Bev also wants the still Lakers guard to do great; the reality is that the Los Angeles franchise front office is still looking to trade Russell Westbrook this offseason. Some have even speculated that all this sudden support for Russ is just a marketing strategy to increase West's value and find him a new team.
But for an NBA executive, Westbrook could have soon enough a new team to play for. If the trade indeed happens, Russell would be moving out from LA to his new possible destination Miami. Russ would be playing for the Miami Heat.
One of the main reasons for Russell Westbrook to arrive in Miami and play for the Heat is that, as an Eastern Conference exec told Ric Bucher of FOX Sports: “It makes sense” because “Miami believes they can rehabilitate anyone.”
After FOX Sports Skip Bayles wrote on his Twitter that the Pat-Russ duo won´t work, by saying that Russell is selfish and only wants himself to shine, having Pat being better will cause problems between them again. Pat immediately responded to Bayles with a good feeling about them, defending his new teammate Russell.
