Being on top of the NBA isn't easy, and being one of the players with more scoring points per game is not easy to accomplish, but there's one Lakers player that has the most season scoring more than 25 PPG is no other than LeBron James.

LeBron has 18 seasons being the player with the most PPG, making it a no-brainer why James can easily break Kareem-Abdul Jabbar's all-time record of most points scored. At the moment, with these 18 seasons having scored more than 25 PPG, James has an unbreakable record.

More Lakers news:

James is way ahead of the rest, as the second player with most seasons having scored plus 25 PPG is Kevin Durant with 13. They are followed by other greats, including the often considered GOAT Michael Jordan. MJ is tied with Kobe and Malone with 12 seasons each.

The most impressive stat is that James has averaged 25+ 18 out of his 19 seasons in the NBA. And now, with his 20th season shortly and without a retirement date, LeBron has the opportunity to continue breaking his record. Just one more for LeBron's book.

What LeBron James needs to break Kareem's all-time NBA points record

LeBron will enter the 2022-2023 season, projecting to need 49 games to pass Abdul-Jabbar's record. The Lakers'49th game of the season would be in January of 2023, so maybe that's when the NBA will see history in the making. LeBron is currently 1,325 points away from overtaking the record, and his average of 27+ PPG gives the projected 49 games.
