The Los Angeles Lakers traded Patrick Beverley, a starter for most of the season for coach Ham; still, they wanted an upgrade and sent him to Orlando Magic for Mo Bamba, but Magic bought him out.
Beverley decided to go to his home, Chicago, and now is playing for the Chicago Bulls, where he has been seen to be giving some great performances on his first games with the team and is already pulling some better stats in four games than with the 45 that he played with the purple and gold.
Patrick Beverley's +/- each game this season since being traded from the Lakers: @ TOR: +2 vs. WAS: +9 vs BKN: +24 Tonight vs DET: +14. He was only a +9 or higher with the Lakers this season 3 times in 45 games. He's hit that mark with the Bulls already in 41 fewer games.
Pat Bev is so happy in Chicago that he tweeted about it after the game by simply writing: "Man, oh Man, I love Chicago."
Most people don't believe what Pat Bev has said on his podcast, as he revealed to be the one who requested his trade from the Lakers, but a Twitter post one day before on reuniting with Dlo in LA and his apparent payback on KO the playoff the Lakers suggest otherwise.
