A lot of speculation has been around the mini-training camp. In recent weeks, it was reported that Russell Westbrook was attending, even amidst the rumors of the Lakers still looking to trade him and his former nemesis Patrick Beverley.

And just when everything was working out for Russ to attend and starting to prove to everyone that this year was going to be different, The LA Lakers front office signed the German Dennis Schröder, who will return a year later after leaving the purple and gold. So Russell's fate remains unknown at the moment.

LeBron James is excited to share the basketball court again with Dennis Schröder.

With the recent announcement of Dennis's return to the Lakers, LeBron didn't waste any time and posted in an IG story his excitement to play alongside the European player who has just finished his participation with Germany in the EuroBasket tournament.
