The date is confirmed for the Lakers vs. Nuggets rematch

It will be sooner than expected but the purple and gold will have their opportunity of a rematch against the Denver Nuggets on opening night, exactly when the new champions will be receiving their rings.

A lot has been said about how head coach Michael Malone talked of the Lakers, and coach Ham recently said things aren't done yet, so it will be interesting to see how things are looking for both teams in the 2023-24 campaign.

The Lakers will open their 2023-24 regular season against the Nuggets in Denver on Oct. 24. The Golden State Warriors will also be on the NBA’s opening night slate with a matchup against the new-look Phoenix Suns.

The game will be broadcast by TNT for the Lakers vs. Nuggets when coach Ham will have the opportunity to see his new players on the court and have an idea of how different this roster is compared to the last one.

The Lakers got better, but the Nuggets not

One of the things the Lakers fans want to see is how the new players will be faring for the next season, so having an opportunity for a rematch is great while the Nuggets got weaker as they lost critical players like Bruce Brown.
