It was earlier today reported that the Los Angeles Lakers would be trading Kendrick Nunn and three 2nd-round draft picks to get the Washington Wizards SF Rui Hachimura.
But the most recent development has the situation to look like a trade is happening, let's just hope that Pelinka closes the deal and the player doesn't get stolen by another team, as it was also reported that the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings are also interested on signing the SF.
Now has been reported that Rui Hachimura did not practice with the Wizards today due to an excused personal absence, per information by Ava Wallace.
This is only making the fans and the media speculate on an upcoming trade for the Lakers' good; let's hope it is for the team and GM Rob Pelinka to do something right, as the fandom can't handle another disappointment.
According to information from spurstalk.com, some trade talks between the Spurs and the Lakers involve Russell Westbrook and are "still alive." The LA franchise could be interested in Jakob Poeltl, Josh Richardson, and Doug McDermott. This could mean that if the trade for Hachimura fails, this could be Pelinka's plan b.
