The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most loyal NBA fandoms out there, but also many players believe them to be ruthless, the reality is that being one of the most popular franchises in the sport and with one of the most winning histories in the league, expectations are high and not many players can meet those expectations, that's what happened to Russell Westbrook.

The Lakers' signing of Westbrook had the team become an instant favorite to win the 2021-22 season, as GM Rob Pelinka was creating a new and terrifying "Big 3" with the PG, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.

It became a failure, especially because of Russ West's terrible shooting from three, but now his former 2022-23 teammate Patrick Beverley believes that the nickname LA fans got of Westbrick was unfair as Pat believes Russ was shooting 40% from 3.

The fans were quick to answer on social media that Russell's stint with the Lakers wasn't anywhere close to shooting 40% from 3. Russ stint with the purple and gold had a 29.8% according to the website statmuse.com.

Patrick Beverley believes coach Ham didn't use the right starting five lineup

Pat Bev has separated himself from the Lakers' failure when he was on the team, believing that coach Ham was the one to blame because of the role given to him and the starting five lineup. Pat Bev was on the Gilbert Arenas show and said the starting lineup should've been Austin Reaves, Patrick Beverley, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
