The NBA world was shocked not by the Los Angeles Lakers getting swept by the Denver Nuggets in four games in the Western Conference Finals but by what LeBron James did right after in the post-game presser.
LeBron changed the conversation by hinting at the possibility of not returning with the Lakers for the next season, as he is considering retiring from basketball.
The purple and gold franchise with the NBA world was shocked, and once again, they are after it was revealed that LeBron James wouldn't be retiring, at least not for the next season, as he is expected to return with LA.
This is the best news for GM Rob Pelinka and the Lakers franchise as they can continue to strengthen the team's roster around their superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Don't expect too many movements or trades this offseason for the Lakers, as the team was able to make it to the Western Conference Finals and wants to try continuity, keeping most of the team's roster core intact to keep building chemistry and culture alongside their head coach Darvin Ham.
