Lakers star LeBron and rapper Drake have been sued over their latest sport documentary

The scandal of the lawsuit against the Lakers star continues, as LeBron was involved alongside rappers Drake and future as executives producer of the latest sports documentary "Black Ice." The former head of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), Billy Hunter, is taking LeBron and the rappers to court.

Hunter is seeking a share of profits from the film benefits plus $10 million in damages. But the former head of the NBPA has now spoken the truth behind the lawsuit. Billy Hunter stated that LeBron James and the rappers Drake and Future thought he would go away; it was a gamble.

The Lakers star is known to invest in all kinds of business, one of the latest beings in the showbusiness having his own production companies. He has been involved lately, making a series of high-profile films and documentaries that have gained critical acclaim. 

The "Black Ice" documentary is based on a book of the same name. It talks about the Canada-based hockey league for black players. Billy claims that LeBron, Drake, and Future stole his film and named the authors of the book, George and Darril Fosty, as defendants in his lawsuit. Hunter alleges that he has already paid the authors $265,000 for exclusive movie rights for their story.
