In a curious turn of events, the old foes Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley became close friends in their time with the Los Angeles Lakers, despite not being the standouts they were supposed to be on the team.

Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook failed to meet the expectations, especially Russ, who was set to be part of the "Big 3" with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Westbrook became the Lakers fan's favorite player to hate, as Russ became the one to blame when everything was wrong with the team. Still, even when he was involved in controversies and didn't shined, he was able to break a record with his coming off the bench role assigned by coach Darvin Ham.

Pat Bev believes that Russ doesn't get credit enough on his time with the purple and gold. “He broke the record for triple-doubles off the bench in half a season. No one is even talking about it. It’s the craziest thing in the world. The man has broke every f—— record.” Said Bev on Westbrook.

Patrick Beverley thinks coach Ham had the wrong lineup on his time in LA

While his time with the Lakers was short and had nothing to standout, Patrick Beverley believes that coach Ham didn't have the best starting lineup. Beverley thinks that the starting five should've been Russell Westbrook, Austin Reaves, Pat Bev, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.
