The Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell is set to have a redemption campaign, he believes in the group

The Los Angeles Lakers have impressed in their preseason, but expectations have to be tempered as it only is preseason and the real game is still to come.

D'Angelo Russell has shown in the first two games that he is ready to erase the bad taste left in the fan's mouth after his disappointing performance in the WCF series vs. the Nuggets that ended with LA being swept.

Alongside Austin Reaves, both guards have created an impressive backcourt as both have great chemistry on and off the basketball court and now Dlo opens up about how that chemistry isn't only restricted to them but all the group is on the same page.

"We like each other, I like our group on the floor off the floor.  The sky is the limit for our group. I'll continue to say it." Said D'Angelo Russell. Dlo isn't the only one with that mindset, as the whole group has a chip on their shoulder and is ready to try to dominate the league.

D'Angelo Russell's performance vs. the Nets gives hope to the fans

After what happened in the playoffs, D'Angelo Russell is ready to give his best and so far has shown in the two preseason games he is here to stay. Against the Nets, Dlo scored 14 points in 16 minutes of playtime, being 5/8 FG and 4/5 from 3. Russell also had one rebound, 6 assists, and two steals with +10 in the plus/minus.
