Los Angeles Lakers are having a hard time this season as they have lost all their three games played so far, and a lot of the blame has been directed towards Russell Westbrook, but the franchise front office and their bad planning are the real problems.
It has been evident that the Lakers need some shooters and more offensive options. And now, in the Fox Sports show 'Undisputed,' Shannon Sharpe slammed the team's front office, as they have failed LeBron James.
"Everybody knows what the Lakers needs (shooters); I'm just trying to understand how Rob got that d@mn extension… they failed him, they've failed LeBron James.. he needs shooters… he needs space," said Shannon Sharpe.
He also spoke about how he couldn't believe the money that GM Rob Pelinka spent on Patrick Beverley, Lonnie Walker, or the other players they signed, around 13-16M each; they couldn't find a shooter in that salary range. So once again, it is evident, Pelinka is doing a terrible job.
The shooter that has been rumored to be signed by the Lakers is the San Antonio Spurs Josh Richardson, but it still hasn't been revealed which player will be waived to give the roster space to the SG. Also, a trade with the Charlotte Hornets has been rumored.
