Russell Westbrook is one of the most accomplished point guards in NBA history. He is by far one of the most athletic players in the game right now. However, the Lakers are trying to trade him so that they can get better, but it seems that there's not a team that wants him on their roster. Now NBA analyst Bill Simmons believes that if Russell is traded, that will be the end of his career.

The Lakers tried to trade Russell Westbrook to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Kyrie Irving. That trade didn't go through, of course. Now he's been rumored to be part of different trades. Some of them include Donovan Mitchell, Buddy Hield and Myles Turner, among others.

LeBron James shows his talent as a high schooler in a highlight video

The LeBron James' stat that will definitely blow your mind

“If that trade did happen… I think he’s out of the league, I just think he’s the rare kind of guy. If you’re a tanking team or a lottery team, why would you bring him in? All he’s gonna do is try to play 40 minutes a game and put up stats and make you more competitive. And if you are a playoff team, I can't think of a playoff team that he could be added," explained Bill Simmons.

It seems that the best case scenario for Russell Westbrook is to actually stay with the Lakers, despite all the hate from the fans. Despite all the trade offers, he was part of and despite Patrick Beverley, who was an enemy of Russ. He might not be the focal point of the team, but he will still be a rotational player.

Good news for Russell Westbrook

LeBron James is the best player for the Lakers and probably the most influential figure in the NBA. He might be the reason why Westbrook plays for the Lakers, as he went onto his Twitter account to say " I can't wait to see him go off'.
