LeBron James is the current biggest star of the Los Angeles Lakers and is entering year twenty of his successful basketball career in the NBA. James is usually a top 2 in the talk of the greatest players in the league of all time.

The current Lakers star previously played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and then for Miami Heat. He has won at least one championship in his three teams. He has a family with his wife, Savannah James, and three sons, Bronny and Bryce, and daughter Zhuri Nova.

But LeBron James grew up without a relationship with his father: Anthony McClelland. His mother, Gloria James, was a sophomore in high school when she fell pregnant with him. She had a sexual relationship with LeBron's father, McClelland, but he did not remain in either Gloria's or LeBron's life.

LeBron revealed that he had never met his father and had no idea how young his mother was when he was born. According to Gloria, McClelland attempted to return to their lives but had a criminal record; he had been convicted of arson and theft, among other charges. In 2014, LeBron shared a post on IG dedicated to his father and wrote: "Because of you, Pops! Thanks all along. Could have said why me with (you) not being there but look what I made of myself."
