Bronny James is one of the most talked about young players in recent history. Being LeBron James could be either a blessing or a curse. So far, the player has had no problems growing up as LeBron James’ son, but as he approaches the NBA, he’s been discussed more and more by the media. Now there’s uncertainty about whether he is a first-round pick or not. According to Chris Fedor, many analysts put him as a late first round pick.

“By all accounts, everybody that I’ve talked to around the NBA that does this for a living, that scouts this, they talk about Bronny as a late first-round pick, early second-round pick type of player… That could change. He could have a great season this year in high school, and then he could go somewhere to college and have a great freshman season and then the status quo changes.”, explained Fedor during his podcast “The Wine & Gold talk”.

Karl Malone's record that LeBron James wants to break this season

According to experts, this is the position Bronny will be taken in the 2024 draft

LeBron James’ oldest son has been all over the internet as he has been part of the California Basketball Club on their Euro Tour. During their participation, LeBron James posted a short video of Bronny alongside Bryce, (Bron’s second son) as it was the first time both kids played in the same team. Then, on a couple more videos, we can see what Bronny is capable as he dunks over two defenders and then makes a block worthy of the ‘King’ himself.

Bronny’s draft eligibility has been a very discussed theme for the only reason that LeBron has repeatedly said that he wants to play with his son in the NBA before he retires. The earliest the teenager can be eligible is by 2024, just as LeBron becomes a free agent once more if he chooses to be. Let’s not forget that the Lakers don’t have a first-round pick until 2027, as they sent them away to the Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis.

What college will Bronny James attend?

There are many reports about where Bronny James might end up playing in his college career. Right now, it seems that only Memphis has made an offer to the young player, but it’s likely that during the next year more will come. Ohio State could be an interesting landing spot as it could mean the return of James to Ohio.
