The Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves continues to impress everyone and the crowd in Philipines gets wild on him as Team USA got the back-to-back win thanks to the purple and gold star.

When the Team USA roster was announced and included the Lakers player name of Austin Reaves, many NBA fans went mad and said that it was a wasted space, yet, in the first five showcase games he showed why he received the call, and now that the United States is 2-0 at the FIBA World Cup with Austin as one of the main stars, his detractors have been silenced.

If that wasn't enough, Reaves scored 15 points against Greece, being the best Team USA scorer even when he came off the bench and was able to take home the Player of the Game award after the dominant win over Greece.

The Philipines fan base is loving every second of Austin Reaves' presence at the FIBA World Cup and the Lakers guard keeps being himself despite his meteoric rise.

The Philipines crowd is going insane with Austin Reaves

The hype with the only Lakers player in Team USA, the favorite team for most of the Philipines NBA fans is so much that even a fan had a sign with the caption "Austin Reaves > LeBron James," which hasn't been well taken by LeBron James fans.
