After having a great breakout season, Austin Reaves has had some success by signing a max extension with the LA Lakers for four years and 56 million. The SG also just released his first signature shoes to see them sold out in minutes and now has been making waves with his performances with Team USA.

LeBron James has said he is a "fan" of Austin Reaves and even reacted to the guard's performance on his Team USA debut. This could inspire the Lakers star to return to the team for next year.

With information via Showtime Basketball, the NBA champion and Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce believes LeBron James will play in the 2024 Olympics. “I really think LeBron [James] is going to go. I think LeBron will be there. This will be his final Olympics…I think he'll go to the Olympics.” Said, Pierce.

It would be amazing for Lakers fans to see the duo of Austin Reaves and LeBron James outside the purple and gold representing the USA as many believe that LA's guard helps make a Big 3 in the team alongside Bron and AD.

Austin Reaves could not be in Team USA for the 2024 Olympics

There is no doubt that the roster for the FIBA World Cup is not the best possible team that Team USA could have fielded. This is no disrespect to the current roster, but guys like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler, Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry, and De'Aaron Fox join a long list of players that are good enough to be on the team but chose not to. This is most likely because players are waiting for the 2024 Olympics to represent Team USA. With that being the case, it would come as no surprise to see LeBron James suit up in red, white, and blue for the last time.
