While Ham keeps repeating mistakes, this Lakers legend is preparing to become a coach

The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling to find the right Head Coach, and while the first-timer Darvin Ham looked like the best option, he has shown he isn't the right fit for the challenge.

This Tuesday night, the Lakers won in New York against the Knicks, as he finally started with a more extensive lineup, but it was more out of necessity, as Pat Bev was out due to an injury.

Ham kept repeating the same mistakes, like not using the Forward Wenyen Gabriel, who has been one of the best role players of the team and was the one that helped the team this Monday night to have a comeback vs. the Nets, at the end the game was lost, but Wenyen gave some hope.

Against the Knicks, Wenyen wasn't seen at all and is even rumored to be traded. Ham also has been known not to call time-outs when necessary, and at the end of the regular time, his strategy for the last play failed, and the game went to overtime when he could've picked a better approach to win it in the fourth quarter.

Pau Gasol is preparing himself to become a coach

Coach Darvin Ham could be in the future be replaced by the Lakers Legend Pau Gasol, who will be having his first stint as a Head Coach in the following All-Star weekend, as he will be the coach of one of the NBA Rising stars in Salt Lake City.
