The Lakers governor Jeanie Buss just presented Slava Medvedenko with replacement championship rings at a Lakers fan event after he sold him to help his home country of Ukraine fight the war against Russia.

But the fandom is split; while some think that Buss is a good human being for this type of event, the other side of the fans, the majority, still believe that she isn't focused on making the team win.

The fans think she only does this event for her image, but she isn't concerned about making the team a contending champion, even when GM Rob Pelinka just signed the SF Rui Hachimura.

Other fans think she should focus more on making the franchise great again, winning titles, and making some profit and great business like her father once did.

The Lakes could be making another trade

Even when the LA franchise just signed Rui Hachimura, the plan for the team is to look for another trade. Whether it is minor or significant will depend on the return of Anthony Davis and how the squad continues to perform.
