While the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James said he wasn't going to interfere in this offseasons roster moves, he still wants to reunite at some point in his career with Kyrie Irving.
LeBron is looking for Irving to join LA, but Kyrie has now signed with the Dallas Mavericks, and despite ESPN's analyst Brian Windhorst believing the PG can still join the purple and gold in the trade deadline, the star has said otherwise.
Yesterday a video was released when a young Laker fan approached the superstar and asked him to join the purple and gold. Kyrie was surprised and said he doesn't know where that comes from as he is with the Mavs and isn't planning to move.
This could be heartbreaking for the Lakers fans that still believe in the Irving-James reunion in LA. But at the moment the PG position is looking strong with D'Angelo Russell and Gabe Vincent in the mix.
The two point guards are reported to compete for the starting role in coach Ham's lineups in the upcoming training camp. Russell has the upper hand as he was in the last season, but their performances and attitude could change things for them.
