The Lakers Nation has been very vocal about wanting the team to sign Cam Reddish ever since the rumors surfaced in the last season. Now that is they can't wait to see him, but there's another player that is pointing out to become LeBron James' prime substitute.

It will be a shocking surprise for the fans to hear but a welcoming one, as coach Darvin Ham has loved the growth and improvement in Max Christie's game and is ready to use him as the prime sub for LeBron James.

Christie was the best player of the Summer League for the Lakers and also showed that he is NBA-ready and is doing his best to become part of the rotation. It seems his wishes are about to become a reality.

Coach Ham is ready to allow Christie to shine, but he is going to have tough competition with Cam Reddish who believes that both sides abilities can make him a fan favorite.

“I think the ability to do it on both sides of the ball. Bring that energy on defense and then offensive being able to do a variety of different things.” Said Cam Reddish on what the Lakers fans will enjoy most about his game.
