Many in the NBA media look to have an agenda against Anthony Davis, as the Lakers star is one of the best players in the league, still, he gets to be a target of critics with nicknames like "fragile" or "street clothes" because of his injury record.

But he has played more games since 2019 than stars like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and more. Still, Davis is the one to get all the hate for not playing enough for his team.

Yesterday the news broke that LeBron James and Anthony Davis want to join Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the immediate reaction to the NBA media was hell no, because AD could put at risk his campaign with LA.

And now, ESPN's Zach Lowe has given another disrespect to the star, as he said on NBA Today, that he would start Bam Adebayo over Anthony Davis on Team USA next year. Davis is the best defensive player in the league but doesn't get enough credit.

Anthony Davis to become the Lakers leader

After signing a 186 million extension, the Lakers want Anthony Davis to take the lead of the team for good, as LeBron James is one of the best players but at 38 years old, he can't carry the whole team on his shoulder. Davis needs to have a comeback this campaign.
