A legendary studded cast was present for the LA Sparks season opener win

The Los Angeles Sparks got a basketball royalty-studded cast present this Friday night at the Crypto.com Arena to see the win, as the team didn't let down against the Mercury that saw the return of the star Brittney Griner.

One of the Los Angeles Lakers showtime era legends was no other than Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and he took to Twitter to write about the eventful night alongside the basketball royalty cast.

"There were a lot of Laker greats and basketball royalty in the building for the game, including Byron Scott, Michael Cooper, Robert Horry, Pau Gasol, Lakers Head Coach Darvin Ham, USC women's basketball head coach Dawn Staley, and Jim Jackson. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and tennis great and Hall of Famer Billie Jean King came to support our Sparks, and the most decorated American track-and-field athlete in Olympic history, Allyson Felix, was also in the building!" Wrote Magic.

The LA Sparks won big with a scoring board of 94-71. The night's top performer was Nneka Ogwumike, as she had a great night with 17 PTS, 4 REB, and 3 AST.
