A few days ago it was announced that the first game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers will take place just two days after the opening date of the 2022 - 2023 season which starts on October 18, when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Chase Center to face the reigning champions; the Golden State Warriors.

After the Los Angeles Lakers lost every game last season to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers have some unfinished business and hope to turn that situation around this season. In the last 10 years, the Clippers have been the dominant team with a 32-7 record in favor of the Blue and White.

The superstar Russell Westbrook could play with next season.

What a great gift Santa Claus will give us this coming Christmas.

According to Chris Baynes "Senior Insider for Yahoo Sports and reporter for TNT, the 4 games of the season between the L.A. Lakers and L.A. Clippers are already set. It's just a matter of waiting until Wednesday, August 17 for the NBA to make the full schedule for next season official.

Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers will square off on the following dates for the 2022-23 NBA season:
October. 20 on TNT (Lakers home)
Nov. 9 on ESPN (Clippers home)
Jan. 24 on TNT (Lakers home)
April 5 on ESPN (Clippers home).

Those will be some of the most attractive games of the season.

A couple of years ago, the Los Angeles Clippers began bolstering their roster with superstar players like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The Lakers have also tried to do the same (although last season it didn't work out well). It will be the first time since 2020 that the stars of the Los Angeles Lakers (LeBron James and Anthony Davis) and the stars of the Los Angeles Clippers will match up on the court. No doubt it will be a great show.
