LeBron James in no new to express his feelings or opinion through his social media. This time he showed his excitement towards a signing of a former Laker teammate in Quinn Cook. He a James share locker rooms during the 2020 Championship run. Eventually the Lakers waived him, and last season he ended up playing in the G League affiliated. Now he found a new chance in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings.

James use his Instagram account to shared his excitement for Cook and wished him the best as he attempts to revive his NBA career. "YESSIR!!! GO GET IT BROTHER!!" was the message the King use to pump up his former teammate. Although Quinn Cook was part of the Lakers’ 2020 championship run he didn’t find that much playing time during the bubble playoffs. He was still a reliable backup for the Lakes throughout the campaign averaging 5.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 44 games.

As said above Cook recently signed a one-year deal with the Kings after spending the past 2021-22 season in their G League affiliate. This will be the 10th team Cook signs with since 2015. He has gone through Canton Charge, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Santa Cruz Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Lokomotiv Kuban and Stockton Kings. Needless to say he hasn't been the most consistent player in the league.

Cook will be reuniting with former Golden State Warriors assistant Mike Brown, who has officially taken over the head coaching duties of Sacramento this offseason. They shared team from  2017-2019 where the won a championship and Cook had his best year of his career when he put up 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 48.4 percent shooting from the field. Now he will fight for a spot in the team with new additions such as Matthew Dellavedova and Malik Monk

LeBron has been very active through social media in the past months, he was part of the first Lakers TikTok post, and he has been sharing the growth of his sons, where the just played their first ever game together and a post where he showed them training with him.
