LeBron James just signed a two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers so that he could keep playing until he is at least 40 years old. His contract also includes a player year option that can make him play with the team until 2025. He is still in great shape and there's not many doubts that make us think he can't keep playing even after that.

LeBron James just appeared on the Sports Illustrated cover alongside his sons as he has repeatedly said that he wants to play with Bronny in the NBA. Now, he wants to play with both sons. This will make him play to at least 2026, when Bryce can be eligible for the NBA if he commits to a college program.

Of course, playing until 2026 will make him play till 41, which will mean that he will be the only player to ever play since he was a teen, all the way to when he's over 40. According to LeBron James, NFL legend Tom Brady gave him the inspiration to keep playing.
