LeBron James has shown throughout his lengthy career that he is one of the best players in NBA history. Despite missing the playoffs in two of his four years with the Lakers, he has changed the narrative the team had in the last couple of seasons. Now, with a two-year extension, he is going to try to lead the Lakers to another playoff run.

Despite being one of the most dominant players in the NBA today, LeBron James has had some problems since arriving at the Lakers. Not only has he missed the playoffs twice, which is the same amount that he had missed in his previous 15 seasons. But he has been injured a lot in the last four years. Now NBA analyst Zach Buckley reveals what could be the worst case scenario for the Lakers next season.

The trade that would've solved all the Lakers' problems

LeBron James is already putting to good use his new extension money

“Still, the one area that reflects his age more and more is his games played—or games missed, rather. He last cracked 70 appearances in 2017-18 and hasn't reached 60 in either of the past two campaigns. If he's stuck on the sideline for a third of the season, and L.A.'s ship sinks without him, he won't be able to find a miracle fix,” explained Buckley.

In the end, LeBron James is the Lakers' best player and this team goes as the ‘King’ go. If LeBron can play for 60 or more games, the Lakers will reach the playoffs. If he can't, the other players must have an unbelievable season to carry the team to the postseason.

LeBron James injury-prone?

The Lakers have a big problem with LeBron. Despite him being their best player, he hasn't been able to remain healthy since joining the team. In his first 15 seasons, he missed only 71 games due to injury or rest. In only his last four seasons, he has already missed the same amount of games.
