In the middle of controversy after waiving players like Rae Burrell, the LA Sparks have decided to announce their ready roster with the young promise of Zia Cooke on it.

Tonight the Sparks are having their debut at the Crypto.com Arena against the Phoenix Mercury. In addition, the organization has officially announced its roster, which is ready for the season.

With a lack of size now that Burrell is out, the team's roster has Zia Cooke, Nia Clouden, Lexie Brown, Dearica Hamby, Chiney Ogwumike, Jasmine Thomas, Jordin Canada, Azura Stevens, Joyner Holmes, Layshia Clarendon, Nneka Ogwumike and Katie Lou Samuelson.
