There have been many discussions on who’s the greatest NBA player of all time. Most discussions have been narrowed to two players in LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Now, former Lakers champion Shaquille O’Neal put his input into this question, and argues that once LeBron James passes Kareem Abdul- Jabbar on the all-time scoring record, there will be no more questions.

During an appearance on ‘Full Send Podcast’, the three-time NBA champion argued that once James passes Kareem, there will be no reason to deny that the ‘King’ is the best player of all time as he would have surpassed all the great players in NBA history.

So, if that doesn’t make him the greatest basketball player, I don’t know what we are talking about”, explained Shaq.

LeBron James has been in the NBA for almost 20 years. His longevity in the league has helped him to achieve most of his individual records. But his consistency and dominance during all the years he has been playing are the real reason why he might be the GOAT.
