Russell Westbrook's status on the Lakers has been in limbo since the end of last season. The Purple and Gold have tried to trade him throughout the offseason, but so far, no team has agreed to receive the former MVP. Now with the trade for Patrick Beverley and the future of Russell Westbrook is more than uncertain.

Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook not only play the same position but they appear to have been sworn enemies since 2014. Lakers owner Jeanie Buss and Lakers head coach Darvin Ham have repeatedly argued that they wouldn't mind having Westbrook on the roster as he was the team's best player last season. However, according to NBA analyst David Aldridge, there's no way you can have Westbrook on your team.
